Overview
Akiraa Derma is a dermatology, hair and aesthetic clinic in Lajpat Nagar, South Delhi, led by Dr. Lipy Gupta. They needed a website that feels as refined as their care and makes it simple for a new patient to understand their options and request an appointment. At Codenbrand, we built a fully custom WordPress theme with no page builders and no off-the-shelf template, so the site is fast, easy to manage and designed around one goal: helping patients take the first step.
The Challenge
- Patients usually start with a concern, such as acne, pigmentation or hair fall, rather than the name of a treatment.
- The brand needed to look calm, premium and trustworthy, and stay fast on mobile phones.
- Many concerns and treatments had to be presented clearly without overwhelming visitors.
- Every enquiry had to be captured safely and protected from spam, with a quick way to reach the clinic by call or WhatsApp.
Our Solution
Custom WordPress Theme
A hand-coded, fully responsive theme in the clinic’s green and gold identity. The home page introduces the clinic and the doctor, guides visitors through concerns and signature treatments, and ends with a clear call to book an appointment.
Concern-First Navigation
Concerns and Treatments are built as their own content types, each with archive and detail pages. Patients can begin with what they want to improve and move to the treatments that may help, while related concerns and treatments are suggested alongside every page.
Doctor, Gallery, FAQs and More
Dedicated pages for About, Gallery, Videos, Testimonials, Blog and FAQs build trust before the first visit. On the About page, the doctor’s work experience, education, speciality interests and publications open in simple pop-ups, and the gallery opens in a lightbox.
Appointment & Contact Forms with Spam Protection
Custom appointment and contact forms collect the patient’s details and are available on the booking page and in the sidebar of every concern and treatment page. They are protected with security nonces, a hidden honeypot field and timing and interaction checks. Each enquiry is saved in the website’s database and emailed to the clinic, and the patient receives a confirmation. Call and WhatsApp links are available across the site.
Performance & SEO
Optimised WebP images, lean code and clean semantic markup give fast load times. Page-level SEO setup, structured data (schema) for the clinic, doctor and services, and clean URLs provide a solid base for local search visibility.
